All centers in Greece have excellent cooperation between them under the auspices of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Hematology – Oncology (EEPAO), which is the exclusive scientific body for doctors working in the field. The EPEAO and Greek physicians actively participate in the activities and working groups of the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE). The immediate objectives of the EPEAO are the reorganisation of the patient registry and the development of the coordination structures for unsubsidised academic clinical trials throughout the country. Supporters of the actions of both EPEAO and all units are the parent and support associations of children with cancer, such as:”Flame”, “Hope”, “Faith”, “Glow”, “Sunshine”, “Cancer” etc.(11)
